Hassan MAJDI

Hassan MAJDI has created “Traces Berberes Voyage”, which reflects his passion for Jewish history and heritage in Morocco. He is a Moroccan PhD student, enrolled at Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakech, Morocco and also at INALCO, the National Institute of Oriental Civilisations and Languages in Paris, France. His area of research focuses on the Jewish Moroccan heritage:

“The Cult of Saints and pilgrimages among the Jews of Morocco”

With Hassan MAJDI and his motivated and well experienced team, individuals and families can discover through customized private guided tours the Jewish heritage of their family and ancestors through visiting select monuments and memorials, museums and synagogues in Morocco.
Our programs and Tours focus on all aspects of Judaism in Morocco. It is a way to connecting to a very rich yet almost forgotten part of Moroccan Jewish Heritage. It is also about recovering for and from Morocco a piece of its own culture, dating as for back as 2000 years…
